2017 was all about smashing records for Team Finnan’s Gift (and looking fabulous while doing it, thanks to a brand new Team t-shirt)!

With an fantastic team of over 100 runners and walkers, we have been able to raise a record breaking figure of…

How unbelievable is that!? We hope everyone who donated can feel so proud knowing that every cent will be going straight to the purchase of cutting-edge equipment for the RCH's Cardiac Department.

We were so pleased to be able to use Collingwood FC’s amazing new Glasshouse as our Team Headquarters this year, and the energy in the room was enough to give you chills. So many people together with the sole aim of raising funds and awareness for Congential Heart Disease - absolutely incredible!

A very special shout out needs to go to Gavin, our superstar Marathon runner! Our Half Marathon contingent was very impressive, with Oliver Camplin-Warner, Richard French, William Guiney, James Kus, Anthony Seabrook, Lachlan Buszard and Paul Sporton leading the way! We also had an incredible number of individuals signed up to the 10k and 5.7k, simply too many to name, well done guys!

It was great to see a lot of families/friendship groups getting involved as well – the McMahon’s, the Mahoney’s, the Seabrook’s, the Slater’s, the Smithell’s, and the Weston’s, just to name a few! It really is so inspiring to see families and so many people coming together to support Finnan’s Gift!

We really cannot thank everyone enough who supported Team Finnan’s Gift for the 2016 Melbourne Marathon - every effort, whether you ran or not, truly means the world to us, and for that we are eternally grateful!

Finnan's Gift Grant 2015. On 5 March 2015 we presented a $250,000 cheque to purchase new pumps for 4 critical life support machines for the RCH's Paediatric ICU.
Finnan's Gift Grant 2014. Reaching our large $75,000 target meant that on 11 March 2014 we were able to hand over 6 monitors to the PICU that measure the levels of blood and oxygen in children after surgery.
Finnan's Gift Grant 2013.  On 23 April we proudly presented the $20,000 Finnan's Gift Grant to the Perfusion Team to develop a monitor to measure blood & oxygen supply during surgery.
Finnan's Gift Grant 2012.  Thanks to your generosity we were able to make the 2012 grant a reality and donate $20,000 to support PICU nurses with their professional development.
Finnan's Gift Grant 2011. Our very first grant to the RCH purchased a $300,000 echocardiology scanner to help provide the best possible equipment available to assess the heart.

We are passionate, we are determined to make a difference, we will work all hours possible... but without you we are nothing!
